ISRAEL CRISIS FUND
Northern Israel has been largely shuttered for weeks, having dire consequences on the economy. Israelis need help putting their lives back together--reentering jobs, rebuilding homes and businesses and healing. A network of social services will need to be restored to move beyond the trauma of war. Thousands will require vocational training, emergency funds and trauma counseling.
- Trauma Services: Counseling for citizens of Northern Israel and areas surrounding Gaza. Hospitals require funds for specialized services, hot lines, and first responders.
- Fund for Victims of Terror: A dedicated fund for victims and their families, including scholarships and assistance for the children of victims.
- Relief and Support for Soldiers and their families. Support and assistance for "lone soldiers," immigrants without families in Israel, and aid for families of soldiers fighting in Israel's defense.
- Assist those who are unemployed or suffering economic hardship: Vocational training for the newly unemployed due to lay-offs and business closures, and a fund for small business loans.
- Rebuilding Communal Infrastructure: Re-equipping damaged community services, including absorption centers, libraries, community centers, and homes for the elderly, updating bomb shelters, and upgrading emergency vehicles.
- Housing: temporary housing while homes are rebuilt, assistance for repairs, and aid to low-income families without home insurance.
- Vulnerable Populations: Restoring home care, meals-on-wheels, and medical care to the elderly' helping new immigrants access government services; providing specialized services to the disabled.

- Expand education and social welfare programs that will not be adequately funded by the government as a result of increased defense needs and loss of tax revenue.
- Israel Advocacy: Effectively making the case on behalf of Israel and building community support.
- Restoring and Fostering Youth Travel to Israel: Strengthening regitration for Birthright Isrel, MASA and other Israel experiences.
